Happy Hump Day friends,
Well this is my last poem for Poetry Month. I hope you enjoy. I wrote this during a power outage, when in darkness I discovered an amazing magical world:
When the Light Goes Out
The fire's of a summer sky
Fallen to the grounds of Autumn
Creating a floor of stars
For a rainy starless night
Where even electricity's bulb is dark
And candle's flame can be found
Hope you have a good week friends, always try to find the beauty around you, and may God always bless you .

Freedom in Page
Happy Poem Wednesday Friends,
Here we have a poem I wrote about how books helped me during the early years of my anxiety.
Freedom in Page
The sound of a page turning
So insignificant
But right now so important
She needs to get away
Give her mind a little peace
To escape for a while
To live in another's life
To walk amongst the sentences
To cling to each word
Let her broken mind focus
On creating worlds in her head
Prompted by the language
The storytellers weave
Hope you have a good rest the week my friends God Bless!

Meeting An Ocean
Happy Wednesday Friends,
Here comes another poem at you. I wrote this about my first time seeing the ocean which unbelievably was just a few years ago...
Meeting An Ocean
Passing marshes and broom sage
Amber says she can smell it
Can I?
Would I even know it if I did?
The Atlantic reveals a piece of herself
Through road side trees
I'm in awe
I step out from the car
She greets me in winds
I step onto her sands
Slightly shifting beneath my feet
Sun lowering himself
Making a pale yellow pink sky way
Along the shore
Buildings become lost in pink haze
2 seagulls walking by
In a comedic conversation
"Hurry" says one
The other bracing against cold
Complaining about the weather
I looked to the horizon
Knowing beyond somewhere
Lay the shores of Ireland and Africa
Staring into the waves
With the eyes of my mind
I see the old ships
Her sails puffed out
But only fantasy's memory
Keep rockin' the poetry my friends and may God Bless You!

Top Sheets and Toilet Paper
Happy Wednesday my friends,
It is National Poetry Poetry Month! Every Wednesday this month I'm gonna share a poem I wrote with you. So for today's sharing I'll share a poem that was inspired originally by this silly top sheet debate I heard about. I think I first heard about it when I saw this posted by my friend Nerd Momma on Facebook. I found a USA Today article on the subject. Apparently a study or something has been done over this, and at first I was annoyed that because of what some people of this gen did they've made the generalization we all do it, I can't stand when people do that for a group of people. Later on as I thought about it I started to think about the fact if this is like some official study that there has been time and maybe money wasted on this! Plus the time and energy people have wasted in arguing over this thing. This got me thinking of the silly things we humans get our cackles up over, yes I'm including me in this, and it culminated in this poem:
Top Sheets and Toilet Paper
As humans we make silly debates
When there are better
More important things to worry about
Your worried over how a few people of generation make their bed
Be more concerned whether or not people of that, or any generation, have beds to sleep on
Your clashing over which is the best franchise
Just be glad they exist for your enjoyment
Your debating on how that roll of toilet paper goes
I'd be more worried whether there's a roll to wipe with
We are all different minds
Even within the same race, fandom, generation
So stop making assumptions for a whole group
Quit the bickering
Focus on the things that can make this world better
And just make your bed how you want
Well my friends hop you can push through the rest of the week. Remember to always do you peoples, and may God bless you.

Musical Moment: A Knight's Tale Soundtrack
Happy Monday Friends,
I'm back with another Musical Moment Monday, today were spinning the soundtrack from one of my favorite Heath Ledger movies: A Knight's Tale!
Artist: Various
Album: A Knight's Tale Original Soundtrack
Released: 2001
Cover: Heath Ledger (God rest his soul) against a red background. The wording is in white.
Booklet: One side of the of the booklet it a grey fabric background with all the writing in white. There is an awesome little write up about this movie's music by one of the album's producers, Brian Helgeland. The other side is a red fabric with a collage of images from the movie.
Back Cover: The outside is a pic from one of the joust scenes and the song list and Sony Music Soundtrax logo is in white. Inside back cover is a grey fabric with a darker grey imprint of Will's bird symbol I can't remember if it was the one her used disguised or after.
The Disk: The disk is black with white lettering.
The Music:
We Will Rock You- (Written by Brian May/ Sung by Queen) Opening song of the movie which probably gave you a hint the soundtrack would not be the norm of a medieval flick. It is also a much loved song at gaming events. It's also one of my favorite Queen songs, along with the other queen hit on this album, and the Highlander series theme song Princes of the Universe.
Low Rider- (Written by Syvester Allen, Harold Brown, Morris Dickerson, Lonnie Jordan, Charles Miller, Lee Oskar, Howard Scott, and Jerry Goldstein/ Sung by War) Anyone else thinking of George Lopez or Gone in 60 Seconds when they hear this? I also can't help thinking of my old car the Camaro my sister named Peggy Sue.
Takin' Care of Business- (Written by Randy Bachman/ Sung by Bachman-Turner Overdrive) Still keeping the business in order after all these time.
Golden Years- (Written and Sung by the Goblin King err David Bowie) I believe it was to this song that Will was attempting to bust some moves, although at the beginning his dance didn't hold much magic (okay I'll quit with Labyrinth references).
Crazy on You- (Written by Ann Wilson, Nancy Wilson, and Roger Fisher/ Sung by Heart) Cue the guitar intro!
Further On Up the Road- (Written by Don Robey and Joe Veasey/ Sung by Eric Clapton) The old song predicting of the bad karma to be had later on a person for hurting a body.
Get Ready- (Written by William Robinson Jr/ Sung by Rare Earth) 4 words: Prepare for the love.
I Want to Take You Higher- (Wrote by Sylvester Stewart/Sung by Sly & the Family Stone) Boom laka laka *harmonica solo!*
The Boys are Back in Town- (Wrote by Phil Lynott/ Sung by Thin Lizzy) As long as The Wilburn Brothers' Trouble song show up it'll all be good. * See Trouble's Back in Town*
One of Your Own- (Okay I think the music for the track was wrote and performed by Carter Burwell, while the dialogue was wrote by Brain Helgeland and Spoken by Paul Bettany) This is Chaucer's rousing speech as he bought time for Will to get ready for the next round of his tournament. I love when he's doing the balancing act near the royals' sitting area and just keeps on speeching.
We Are the Champions-( Written by Freddie Mercury/ Sung by Robbie Williams and Queen) My other favorite Queen song, they actually have the video for this version of the song on the movie's DVD. Actually one time when the Captain brought over either Dragon Strike, or Hero Quest, and My sister and me played it, with the Captain as our Game master, we actually played the Crazy Frog version of this song. Keep in mind this was our first victory against her so we wanted to celebrate, it only stung more we used the version done by a character she doesn't care fore. :P
Pieces-(Wrote by Dan Powell and Adam Smalley/ Sung by Dan Powell) I guess even shattered hearts are capable of love...
Eye Conqueror- (Wrote by Stephen Jenkins and Arion Salazar/Sung by Third Eye Blind) Conquering the heart!
Keep the music rocking through out the week my friends, don't over do the Easter goodies, and May God Bless You!

30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 30
Blessed Good Friday my friends,
On this last day of the Writing Challenge they want me to to write "Your highs and lows for this month."
Highs- Getting to see a friend I hadn't seen in a while, making my Mom happy with a choice I made, and completing all days of this thing.
Lows- Sleep messed up, my anxiety, Depression, and OCD flaring up real bad.
I really glad this challenge is done, it's tiring trying to make blogs post for each day on top of regular blogging. I hope you have a good weekend. May you have a good weekend and for those of you that celebrate, a blessed Easter. God Bless You!

30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 29
Tis Thursday friends,
We're in the final two days of the writing challenge, not sorry to see this almost over. They are asking me: "What are your goals for the next 30 days?"
I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow most the time. I know I'm gonna celebrate Easter and my Dad's birthday, but no big goals for me, except trying to combat my mental illnesses.
I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your week friends, God Bless You!
